Expressive Prints & Earth-Hued Knitwear Ground the Latest Fall Collections at Bloomingdales

by Christina Holevas

The latest arrivals at Bloomingdales make a compelling case as to why fall might be the best season to dress for. With rich textures, expressive prints, and warm, earthy shades, the store’s autumn lineup invites tactile layering and bold personality.

Much of the assortment takes cues from country living, though the results are more polished than homespun. Plaid, fringe, and plush knits come together in a poetic take on rustic dressing. Ba&sh’s fringed poncho is an easy starting point, thrown over denim or layered with tonal separates, like the brand’s sleek Cheyla jumper. Rugged knee-high boots finish many of the looks.

Elsewhere, the season takes a darker, more romantic turn. Bohemian ease meets evening opulence through billowing silhouettes, moody jewel tones, and unexpected patterns. A.L.C.'s draped scarf top, paired with the brand’s wide-leg Winn trousers in warm brown, captures the drama without feeling overly precious.

The most compelling pieces play somewhere between the two. Mother’s studded faux-leather jacket lends a bit of toughness to softer textures, while the brand’s striped merino cardigan brings a welcome jolt of playful color. Worn together or mixed into an existing wardrobe, these pieces make a case for fall dressing at its best.
