How Irina Shayk Went From Bombshell to Fashion Darling on the Red Carpet

Irina Shayk had her breakout in 2007 after appearing in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. Since then, she’s appeared in campaigns for Givenchy, Alberta Ferretti, La Perla, and Roberto Cavalli, among others, countless magazine covers, including multiple issues of W, and walked scores of runways.
Like her career, Shayk’s style has come a long way from when she first started hitting the red carpet. She’s blossomed from the mid-aughts uniform of bodycon Hervé Léger dresses to a repertoire that includes edgy leathers, thoughtful gowns, and a collection that spans archival Comme des Garçons to young guns like Duran Lantink and Mowalola. And with that, Shayk has cemented herself as a regular at the Cannes Film Festival, Met Gala, and the Academy Awards.
