Inside Kylie Jenner’s Very Pink 29th Birthday Party

by Natalie Michie

You probably wouldn’t be allowed into Kylie Jenner’s 29th birthday bash if you weren’t wearing a toy tiara and a frothy pink feather boa. Over the weekend, the star gathered her closest pals to celebrate turning another year older—and a strict girl-world dress code was seemingly enforced.

On Saturday, Kylie Jenner hosted a “Princess Kitty” party to ring in the last year of her twenties. Hot pink was soirée’s mandated shade, and in true Leo style, Jenner committed to the bit. She wore a bubblegum latex dress with a feather-festooned crown and ostrich-feather-embellished Gucci Bombshell sandals from the brand’s spring 2026 collection. Photos from the evening showed her crew in kitten-heeled uniformity, from sisters Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Khloé Kardashian to best friends Hailey Bieber, Victoria Villarroel, and Sydney and Devon Lee Carlson. Swathed in varying hues of pink, attendees sported glistening plastic tiaras and plume scarves. (Naturally, Jenner’s boa was a bit brighter than her guests’.)

The fête was a celebration of nostalgic slumber-party excess with mature, tongue-in-cheek touches. Alongside the saturated sartorial guidelines, Jenner infused the evening with a certain grown-up attitude via lower-back rhinestone tattoos, mixed drinks served in diamante-adorned cups, and three highly specific cakes. One was covered in multi-colored gems. Another—decorated with cats—read “Happy Birthday Kitty Kylie.” Lastly, a torso-shaped confection featured a buttercream bikini, with a candle cheekily placed in each breast.

Along with her girlfriends, Jenner’s daughter Stormi was seen singing “Happy Birthday” at the party. Also pictured arriving were Hailey Bieber’s husband Justin Bieber and Devon Lee Carlson’s fiancé Duke Nicholson. Even Tristan Thompson was spotted arriving, wearing a salmon-colored jacket and rose-tinted Y2K glasses. As for beau Timothée Chalamet? He wasn’t spotted in any of the photos. Though the pair have now walked red carpets together, they haven’t yet made themselves “Instagram official.”

All in all, the glamorous evening served as a candy-colored pre-game to Jenner’s actual birthday, which falls on August 10. She may have but one year left in her twenties, but Jenner’s inner child is very much alive.
