For Fendi‘s 90th anniversary, the brand made a splash by renting out the famous Trevi Fountain in Rome for its fall 2016 haute couture show. While designer Karl Lagerfeld is known for requesting grand runway stages, this was perhaps is largest public undertaking yet. For the occasion, a plexiglass catwalk was laid over the fountain, allowing top models Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid to walk like modern deities across. All the models were flown out on a private Fendi plane, and after the show was over they helped themselves to personal pizza pies. Here, a look at fashion’s Roman holiday on Instagram.
