Throughout his career, Giles Deacon has been one of the few fashion designers to incorporate ornate headwear into his collections in a way that enhances—rather than detracts from—the clothes. And so, when planning a retrospective of his work, which was held earlier this week in London’s Kensington Gardens, the designer recruited the famously over-the-top milliner Stephen Jones to design hats. Here, a look back at Deacon’s best hat tricks.
