The Beauty Book
Danish photographer Kenneth Willardt has shot some of the world’s most beautiful women, from actresses like Laetitia Casta and Chloe Sevigny to models such as Adriana Lima, Lara Stone, and Gigi Hadid. Now, these striking photographs are compiled into one all-encompassing tome, appropriately titled The Beauty Book. With its large-scale photographs, such as the ones included here, the book and its accompanying iPad app demonstrate both Willardt’s range as a photographer and the way beauty trends have changed over the years. An exhibition of the photographs is on view through December 7th at 558 Gallery in Chelsea, New York. The Beauty Book is available for $125 at teneues.com.
