Léa Seydoux: Red Carpet Chic

The French actress (mostly) gets it right

Lea Seydoux EE Awards

For the EE Rising Star Nominee Announcements, Blue Is the Warmest Color actress Lea Séydoux looked effortlessly adorable in a printed Miu Miu dress and baby blue pumps. A coordinating Prada coat draped over her shoulders said, “Yes I’m a rising star, but I have other things to do tonight.”

If anyone can pull off catwalk beauty on the red carpet (or black carpet, rather), it’s Léa Seydoux. For the National Board of Review Awards, the star accessorized her luxe Prada look with bleached eyebrows, slicked-back hair and dark lips and nails.

While a white blouse-black skirt combo is by no means groundbreaking, Seydoux made it work in Miu Miu at Les Lumieres Awards in Paris. Thank you, red satin pumps.

Seydoux chose Prada again for The Grand Budapest Hotel premiere in Berlin. In a bold pink gown, the star showed she could go glam as well as the rest of young Hollywood.

Seydoux strayed away from Miuccia’s designs and into questionable dress territory at the premiere of La Belle et la Bete. Her Elie Saab dress overwhelmed her petite frame, and was a bit of a snooze, to boot.

Seydoux stunned at the 2014 BAFTA Awards in a navy, paillette and stone-embroidered sheer Miu Miu gown and Prada shoes. Her Hollywood-inspired hair and diamond chandelier earrings stepped up the overall glam factor.
