We’re about halfway through fall 2020 Fashion Month, but so far, it appears London Fashion Week still holds the title for the most fun, wacky, and out-there presentations. Between pumped-up volume (and frankly, pumped-up everything) at JW Anderson, Simone Rocha’s daring brides, a full-on performance led by Naomi Campbell at Tommy Hilfiger, and the hordes of weirdness seen elsewhere in the city, London maintained its reputation for showing out in an entirely idiosyncratic manner. The street style at LFW stands as a mirror to this sensibility, and the photographer Salvatore Di Gregorio sees the details others might miss. He captured the funky leather jackets; skull prints, tattoos, and metal accessories that speak to London’s punk history, and intricate hair pieces worn by showgoers.
