Madonna Has Always Been the Ultimate Material Girl On the Red Carpet

For over three decades, no one has changed their look quite as much as Madonna. Born Madonna Louise Ciccone on August 16, 1958, the singer rose to prominence in the '80s, a time when she was known for her very of-the-era look: oversized denim, teased hair, and piles of accessories. From there, she's experimented with pointy lingerie, full goth glam, Rat Pack-inspired menswear, and lots and lots of corsets. When it comes to the red carpet, Madonna allows for her current inspirations to come through, whether it be 1970s disco or dramatic full gowns. Here, in honor of her birthday, a look back at some of her most memorable red carpet moments.
