Maripol Captures Fiorucci’s Angels in Polaroids
To herald the revival of the cult Italian brand Fiorucci, the label and W magazine threw a disco dance party on Friday night at the Moroccan-tinged boîte Paul’s Casablanca that drew fans, old and new, of the hip-hugging jeans beloved in the ’70s and ’80s. Given the theme, it was a natural to ask another creature of the era, the great Polaroid photographer Maripol to capture the raucous, nostalgia-filled scene.
