Off-White Fall 2016 Was Inspired by Julia Roberts

“You’re obviously in the wrong place,” a line from the film Pretty Woman starring Julia Roberts as a stripper, served as Virgil Abloh‘s inspiration for his Fall 2016 Off-White collection. “Being feminine and empowered – there’s a change in the tide. It’s not typical or traditional,” he told W magazine in an interview just five days before the runway show at Paris Fashion Week, which featured backwards denim jackets and on-shuolder blazers. See every look backstage and read the full profile of Abloh, here.
