Rihanna Rules the Red Carpet

Rihanna Dior Tidal Launch

With a new gig as the face of Dior and a role in the animated film “Home,” Rihanna has had plenty of reasons to step it up on the red carpet. Here, some of her more noteworthy looks of late.

Surprising no one, Rihanna kicked off her “Home” press tour with a Pop! The star paired a bubblegum pink jumpsuit, blazer and fur stole from the Pascal Millet Fall 2015 collection with a pair of Holly Fulton x Christian Louboutin pumps, a smattering of pink accessories (Jennifer Fisher rings, Dior Mise en Dior tribal earrings), and pristine hair and makeup.

Next, the songstress wore a feminine knit dress and cardigan from her costume designer Adam Selman’s Fall 2015 collection. With little black socks, coordinating Manolo Blahnik pumps, and pumped-up hair, she perfectly toes the line between Disney voice actress and bad gal pop star.

Continuing to embrace her fairer side, for the film’s Texas screening, Rihanna donned a periwinkle slip dress and shiny blush pink coat from Holly Fulton’s Fall 2015 collection. A retro Barbie-esque ponytail and pale purple pumps (also by Fulton) rounded out the look.

When it comes to style, Rihanna is never off-duty. The star was spotted in New York dressing down a neon Christopher Kane slip dress as only she could—with crisp white sneakers, a dainty Dior bag, and a painted fur coat.

Rihanna debuted her first Dior ensemble since being named brand ambassador for the L.A. premiere of “Home.” Though the fit left much to be desired, the pale pink ball gown and black leather pumps was a surprising turn for the predictably unpredictable star.

Rihanna returned to the stage for the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards with a bang. The star captivated the crowd (and the fashion pack) with an emerald green fur coat, thigh high leather boots, and a logo necklace from the Versace Fall 2015 collection over a black Adam Selman micro-mini dress.

Back to Dior, the star sported a printed cotton suit and white ankle boots from the Spring 2015 collection to the launch of Jay-Z’s new music streaming service, Tidal. The songstress skipped a shirt and added a texturized up-do, to give the pretty look some edge.

Later that evening, the star swapped her suit for a more casual look at the Opening Ceremony M$$ X WT launch event, pairing a Raf Simons Fall 2015 coat over a denim bikini top and skirt, and the same white Dior boots.
