Emily Ratajkowski, Shalom Harlow, and the Hadids All Walked the Versace Extravaganza
“Tonight will be maximalist,” Donatella Versace enthusiastically promised on her Instagram on Friday, hours before Versace’s spring 2019 show at Milan Fashion Week. It wasn’t long after the model Freja Beha Erichsen stepped out sans pants, wearing a pair of tights in the same orange tartan that Kaia Gerber appeared head-to-toe in moments later. As it turned out, Versace’s promise applied to not just the collection itself, but also to this season’s star-studded cast. Bella and Gigi Hadid, who arrived in Milan hand in hand, didn’t just join each other on the runway; they also joined pretty much every model you can think of, including Binx Walton, Natasha Poly, Mariacarla Boscono, Anja Rubik, Irina Shayk, Liya Kebede, Stella Tennant, and Kendall Jenner, who definitely appears to have left her fashion week anxiety behind in New York. And, rather than take things in from the front row like Nicki Minaj and Rita Ora, even Emily Ratajkowski joined the party, making her way onto the catwalk right before Shalom Harlow closed things out with a bang by making her first runway appearance in six years.
