The A-List
This week, International VIPs and Hollywood heavy-hitters alike flocked to Milan for Giorgio Armani’s 40th anniversary and the opening of Armani/Silos, the designer’s new museum and exhibition space. The Silos building was constructed in 1950 as a granary for Nestlé (Armani’s headquarters take up the rest of the factory), but has been renovated to include exhibition spaces, a café, and, of course, around 600 Giorgio Armani pieces from the last 40 years. Armani-bedecked stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Hilary Swank were treated to special fashion show, followed by a cocktail party and a DJ set. What better way to celebrate than with 500 of your most stylish, famous, influential friends, all wearing your label?
