One of the most important steps in getting over an ex in the modern age? Unfollowing them on Instagram. Now, about five months after their yearlong relationship ended, Bella Hadid has finally unfollowed The Weeknd on the social media platform.

As Elle notes, a screenshot of Bella’s Instagram from March 23 reveals that she was following the rapper then. But as of Thursday, April 6, his name is glaringly missing from the list of people she follows. Something else that happened circa March 23: The internet noticed that The Weeknd and his new girlfriend Selena Gomez had both unfollowed Bella on Instagram. He reportedly started dating the singer several weeks after things ended with Bella, who unfollowed Selena on Instagram shortly after the new couple were first spotted kissing in public.

Although The Weeknd seems to have moved on quickly, in February, Bella opened up to Teen Vogue about how hard a time she had getting over The Weeknd. “It was my first breakup…and so public. As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well, but it’s always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily,” she said. “It’ll be hard for a while. Love hurts, but you have to pull through.”

Perhaps Bella’s recent unfollow is part of her new plan to put her focus on her own life—which includes a self-imposed ban on dating for the time being. The model recently told Porter Magazine, “I’m just really focusing on myself, and my work, and just being the best that I can be. I’m not really worried about what guys think about me, I’m just trying to be a woman!”

Plus, we can imagine that not having to see The Weeknd’s Selena-filled Instagram stories on the reg will probably be a welcome change for Bella, too.
