Over the weekend, Beyoncé and Jay Z together enjoyed one of their favorite date night activities: sitting courtside at an NBA playoff game. But if you weren’t watching the Los Angeles Clippers take on the Utah Jazz, you most likely missed Bey’s incredible head-to-toe Gucci ensemble.
Not one to waste a killer outfit solely on ABC Sports viewers, though, Queen Bey made sure to capture the look in a series of Instagrams, which she recently shared with her 101 million followers. Flawless indeed.
The first of Beyoncé’s two posts is a slideshow of images, set to the infamously suggestive Commodores’ track “Brick House,” highlighting the gorgeous floral Gucci outfit. The standout piece of the ensemble is a $5,450 Marseille embroidered wool mohair evening jacket from Gucci’s men’s collection, which features metallic thread embroidery and a a floral garland appliqué. Bey accessorized the look with a $1,790 Gucci “Modern Future” backpack and a $320 pair of Gentle Monster sunglasses. Those three items total a whopping $7,560—and that is not even taking into account the chunky statement necklaces or black heeled mules that she added to the show stopping outfit.
Curiously, though, this look is not even close to the most expensive outfit that Beyoncé has worn to a basketball game. That particular honor goes to the $22,000 Gucci kimono (and $450 Gucci paper fan) that Bey donned at the NBA All-Star game back in February.
One thing that is for certain when it comes to both of these on-point looks: Beyoncé is totally nailing the maternity style game—but did you really expect anything less?
