What: The premiere of Cartel Land, a new documentary directed by Matthew Heineman about Mexico’s drug cartels.

Where: A screening and after party book took place at the Tribeca Grand Hotel.
Who: Seth and Alexi Myers, Loan Chabanol, Sami Gayle, Pat Cleveland, Gina Gershon, and Gilles Mendel.
Why: The film, which will open in select theaters on July 3rd, won awards for best director and cinematography for documentary at the Sundance Film Festival. Guests quickly understood why.
