Beauty Secrets of French Model Celine Delaugere

Twenty one years old and already a runway star, the model on how to channel her natural Parisian beauty.

Days after London Fashion Week wrapped, Celine Delaugere, the brainy model who made her runway debut at Christopher Kane, took the best looks from the British collections for a spin. Envious of her cropped hair, smooth skin and full eyebrows, we asked the 21-year-old French newbie to share her beauty secrets. The natural beauty had three words of advice: sleep, water and sun.

Describe your beauty look in three words: Natural, easy and simple.

Five-minute face routine: A light moisturizer, lip balm and concealer on any dark circles from late nights and early wake up calls.

Never leave the house without: Taking my morning shower (which is also my way to wake up!)

Exercise regime: You’ll find me running around whatever city I find myself in for work.

Nutritional lifesaver: Cooking lots of easy vegetable-packed Asian stir-fry’s with rice. It’s really quick and simple to make when I’m busy with work and studying – being healthy and delicious is a plus!

Beauty essentials: Sleep, lots of water and sun. (The latter isn’t always easy to get in Parisian winter!)

Skincare secret: Vitamin E oil.

Fashion month survival trick: As much sleep as possible!

Hair remedy: Argan oil hair masks.

Fragrance of choice: 1996 – which is the fragrance Inez & Vinoodh made for Byredo. I feel like it blends in perfectly with my own personal scent.

Between-show snack of choice: Any strawberry-flavoured candies for a quick sugar rush.

Best advice from mom: To always wash my face with cold water.

Best advice from the makeup artists backstage: To use Crealine H2O micellar water solution to remove makeup. But I’m Parisian! I’ve already got this all down!

Beauty icon: Grace Jones.

Beauty motto: Be authentic.
