Chloë Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham, one of the greatest love stories of our social media times, have been somewhat of a question mark since the young couple split in September 2016. This latest September, though, it seemed like the Parsons School of Design photo student clarified things with a photo of himself watching Game of Thrones posted to Instagram, with the actress tagged in it and the caption, "These nights are my favourite ❤️. Missing my girl." Now, Beckham has offered a more official relationship status update in the form of Instagram-broadcast PDA.
Over the weekend, Beckham posted a photo of himself and Moretz sipping Guinness in Ireland — where the 20-year-old and 18-year-olds meet the local drinking age — while taking in a Leinster Vs Munster rugby match. "Dublin. You were amazing," he wrote in the caption. To top it off, the two coordinated their outfits in matching green scarves.
Moretz also shared a moment from the game on social media. With a wide smile, she took a video selfie as Beckham gave her a kiss on the cheek, which she posted to Instagram stories.
Moretz has been posted up in Ireland, filming her next project, The Widow, a thriller about the drama that enfolds after her character befriends an older woman. Beckham has also been staying busy while in school at Parsons, a move that no doubt made the pair's relationship more logistically feasible. The actress' role in the upcoming film The Widow comes on the heels of her recent interview with Variety, where she revealed her own experiences with misogyny in Hollywood, while noting that there's been some progress. “I’ve seen a massive shift just in terms of how many female filmmakers have been working recently,” she said. “We’re making big steps, but it’s a long way. We’re nowhere near the top. We’re just catching up. We have a long way to go.”
