Dress like David

There’s a 1932 film, Tod Browning’s Freaks, that is kind of legendary for its gruesomely honest portrayal of circus sideshow “freaks”—after one early screening, a woman tried to sue the movie studio for giving her a miscarriage. The new fashion film that David Beckham did with Belstaff reminds me a little of this cult classic, except of course amid the strange brew of characters there is David Beckham, in his biker leather, looking the way he always does—stupidly handsome. All of which is to say, no matter which crowd you ride with this jacket stands out.
