Emily Ratajkowski is a married woman. You shouldn't feel behind on your celebrity gossip if you can't picture the man Ratajkowski exchanged vows with on Friday. The couple has only been together for a couple of weeks. But as romcoms have taught us for decades when you know, you know, and Ratajkowski obviously knows her new husband Sebastian Bear-McClard is the one.
The newlyweds made things official in a courthouse in New York City, according to TMZ. The pair came equipped with wedding guests, including The Fat Jewish (aka Josh Ostrovsky). Bear-McClard is a producer whose best-known project is probably last year's crime drama Good Time, starring Robert Pattinson. He also appeared as an actor in the 2006 film The Minority.
Ratajkowski announced her surprise wedding on Instagram, though you might have needed a little more context to be certain her photo featuring the newlyweds and captioned with "ny" between two ring emojis does mean that the model has officially changed her marital status. The 26-year-old also posted a series of snaps to Instagram Stories sharing the news. "Soooo I have a surprise. I got married today," she penned. Instead of bridal whites, the model opted for an orange monochromatic trench and wide-leg pants from Zara and a black hat with delicate vail.
Though it might seem like Ratajkowski rushed to the alter (metaphorically, in this case) — the pair were only first spotted out around Valentine's Day and prior to that she was in a three-year relationship with music producer Jeff Magid until January — it's possible she just wanted to make sure she'd have enough time to fit in a long honeymoon before promoting I Feel Pretty, the upcoming Amy Schumer comedy Ratajkowski appears in alongside fellow models Naomi Campbell and Lauren Hutton. 2018 was already going to be a big year for Ratajkowski's film career, who will appear in the crime drama Lying and Stealing and the thriller Welcome Home, both out this year. For an Instagram famous model, maybe keeping a work-life balance means keeping your personal life just as exciting as your career.
