Socialite Rank, the defunct Web site that judged party girls on their event attendance and their borrowed clothes, have a new fix. Famegame.com, whose beta version has been quietly lurking in cyberspace for more than a year, will officially launch in early spring with a spiffed-up design, interactive elements and an event calendar. The site rates New Yorkers based on how often they are in party pictures, local papers and blogs. Founders Jose Serrano-Reyes and Seth Aylmer claim the site isn’t just a guilty pleasure but rather aims to connect artists and charities with press-worthy figures with “social capital” to spare. Right.
