Lady Be Good

I’ll always be a sucker for a ladylike floral, and five new fragrances fit that bill nicely: Dolce by Dolce & Gabbana ($112, saks.com) tops white water lily with a newbie to fragrance land: white amaryllis, a strong, sweet floral. Chantecaille Pétales ($175, nordstrom.com) is a bouquet of gardenia, jasmine, and tuberose. The lab coats at Jean Patou, home of the all-time classic Joy, have spawned Joy Forever ($110, neimanmarcus.com), which warms up the original’s rose and jasmine base with bergamot and iris. Roja Parfums’ Nüwa mixes its rose with bergamot, jasmine, and a cozy touch of vetiver ($990, rojaparfums.com). And Elie Saab L’Eau Couture ($97, nemainmarcus.com) is a green floral with bergamot, magnolia, and orange blossom—and a hint of almond.
