Lady Gaga has been on a streak lately. After debuting new music during her set at Coachella and giving fans the opportunity to appear alongside her in the forthcoming movie A Star Is Born, she’s now released a sneak peek at the production itself.

Gaga posted the still from the film to her Instagram account earlier today. It shows Gaga in rocker gear, passionately singing at the microphone, as a bearded, guitar-yielding Bradley Cooper looks on.

“I am so excited to star in my first movie alongside someone I’m so lucky to call my friend,” Gaga wrote. “I always wanted to be an actress on the big screen. The story of A Star is Born is so special and I’m so grateful to Bradley for making my dream come true. Can’t wait for you to meet Ally. She has her first scene in 5…”

Gaga stars as Ally in the latest rendition of the film, which is about an “up-and-coming starlet who struggles to break into the entertainment world,” according to The Hollywood Reporter{: rel=nofollow}. Helping her on her path to fame is “an industry veteran on the way down,” played by Cooper. The film marks not only Gaga’s big-screen acting debut, but also Cooper’s directorial debut. It kicked off production when it filmed scenes at Coachella over the weekend.

Cooper’s version of A Star Is Born will mark the fourth time the film has been remade: It debuted in 1937 to first tell the story of a fading Hollywood actor helping a young actress find fame. It was then remade in 1954, starring Judy Garland—who was nominated for Best Actress at the Oscars—and in 1976, starring Barbra Streisand, who won Best Original Song for “Evergreen.” The latest retelling of the romantic story will hit theaters in 2018.
