Laure Heriard Dubreuil collaborates with Eres.

The Webster Eres Swimwear

For the style-obsessed who neglected to pack a bathing suit for Art Basel Miami Beach, gravity-defying string bikinis are not the only option in town. Laure Heriard Dubreuil, founder of the cult store the Webster, is launching a capsule collection for Eres, the French swim label that recently tapped her to be its first brand ambassador. It’s a job she’s been unofficially campaigning for her whole life. “My mother and all her friends wore Eres suits,” recalls Heriard Dubreuil, who grew up in Cognac, France. “I dreamed about owning one, but my mother wouldn’t let me have one before I was 18—so I stole hers.” Since then, Heriard Dubreuil has amassed a personal collection of some 40 Eres suits dating back to the ’70s. “It’s part of my DNA,” she says. To the brand’s legendary fit, she added a little local color (acid green, flamingo pink) and patterns inspired by Art Deco. The 14-piece collection will become widely available in February—though her mother refuses to wait that long. Says Heriard Dubreuil, “I already have a waiting list of her friends.”
