What do you get when you cross an iconic American heritage brand with one of Britain’s best outerwear designers? Simple: fall’s most covetable coats. Just in time for frosty temperatures, Eddie Bauer has released a small menswear capsule collection designed by Nigel Cabourn, who’s been collecting fine vintage outwear—not to mention English military uniforms and workwear—for over 30 years. In fact, Cabourn’s 4,000-piece personal collection includes several Eddie Bauer originals.
This seven-piece collaboration resulted from Cabourn’s research in the Eddie Bauer archives, and includes quilted coats and vests in waxed cotton and wool, leather accents, and fur-lined detachable hoods. Whether you’re climbing Mt. Everest or just walking to the corner deli, there’s something to match your needs.
