Noemie Lenoir, the Face of Balmain Hair, Talks Big Curls

There’s a lot to be envious about of when it comes to Noemie Lenoir. In the early Aughts, the supermodel was a fixture of both Paris’ couture runways and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. But, now, at 36, she’s back with a vengeance as one of the faces of Balmain’s spring campaign. Mixing a certain French je nais se quoi with California cool, Lenoir, famous for those big curls, still keeps up-to-date on the latest beauty trends – hey there, cushion compacts! One tip for those lusting after a similar mane: don’t leave the house without a hair tie. And while she keeps an abstemious diet, you can be comforted to know she still drools when she drives by an In-N-Out Burger like the rest of us.

Never leave the house without: An elastic for my hair!

Beauty from the inside out: Anything steamed—fish and tea are my favorite. I avoid any kind of fried and junk food, but don’t get me wrong, I can lose it driving by an In-N-Out Burger.

Exercise regime: I like to run and do pilates everyday. I take a break on the weekends to enjoy time with my kids. I also ride horses a lot when I’m in Paris. You can drive 30 minutes out of town and find the best places for this!

Snack of choice: I’m not a snack person. I would say seaweed chips! I tried it on set in New York a few months ago and they’re my new favorite.

Beauty essentials: Anything La Mer.

Favorite hair professional: Nabil Harlow is a hair wizard. He has this amazing Atelier in Paris in the Balmain Hair salon. This place is so inspiring, with wig and hair creations everywhere, it’s like a laboratory of hair experiences. I’m lucky enough to know him well, so I can enter those secret rooms.

Pharmacy find: It’s not a pharmacy, but I love Sephora for that kind of stuff. It’s a beauty heaven.

In-tub must: I listen to classical music in my bath. No light, candles, and I relax.

Spa-cation at: I don’t go to the spa that much, I have two kids! But I do facials sometimes, if I’m lucky enough to be in a nice hotel with a nice spa while shooting on locations.

Always in your suitcase: Balmain Hair Argan Oil and Salt Spray, La Mer Serum, Maybelline Great Lash Mascara, Chanel red lipstick. I also love the new L’Oréal Lumi Cushion Foundation, so practical!

Fragrance of choice: Guerlain L’Heure Bleu.

Best advice from mom: To always put cream on my entire body after showering! Love the Jergens cream. It’s amazing….We don’t find it in France really, so I always stock up!

Best advice from the pros: Sleep, drink lots of water, and eat clean. It’s the best motto to keep your skin young and glowing.
