Petra Collins’s Los Angeles

The photographer shares five reasons why she loves the city.

Petra Collins

22-year-old photographer Petra Collins, who documented Art Basel Miami Beach for W Magazine in December, may have been born and bred in Toronto, Canada, but recently she has divided her time between New York and Los Angeles. In a video for Swedish brand COS, which in the past few months opened its first US boutiques in both cities, Collins offers a peek into her sunny L.A. lifestyle. Here, she shares her favorite things about the west coast.

Sticker Planet at The Grove 6333 West 3rd Street “They have the best sticker collection ever; I’ve spent hundreds of dollars just on stickers there.”

Hollywood Forever Cemetery 6000 Santa Monica Boulevard “They have the best vibes and best movies.”

101 Coffee Shop 6145 Franklin Avenue “You can’t go wrong with their chocolate waffle brownie sundae.”

Out of the Closet 10749 Pico Boulevard 6210 Sunset Boulevard 1724 Sunset Boulevard “One of the best thrift stores, and for a really awesome cause.”

The Sky “Without fail, L.A. produces the best sunsets and sunrises I’ve ever seen.”
