Sleek hair and glowing skin added up to a more polished look than we’ve come to expect from Proenza Schouler. “It’s a little bit more considered than normal,” hairstylist Paul Hanlon said, adding that he planned to deconstruct the models’ hair once it had been fixed. To achieve this more refined version of a “slept-in” look, Hanlon used a combination of styling lotion and hairspray, with Bumble & bumble Brilliantine ($24, bumbleandbumble.com) as a final touch. For the “very fresh, luminous skin,” the makeup artist Diane Kendal applied moisturizer on top of foundation, cream blush on the apples of the cheeks, greasepaint around the eyes, and MAC lipstick in Siss ($16, maccosmetics.com) to the lips. The manicurist Honey—who used a not-yet-available MAC polish called Green Pearl—summed it all up the best: “It’s clean, but with a little zhoosh.”
