Trends come and go but one that might just be sticking around is swapping out your belts for duct tape, that is if Raf Simons has his way. Fall's hottest accessory — which made its debut back in February — has just hit retailers including Rodan Gray for $200. For that price, you can have your very own roll of Raf Simons duct tape that reads "Walk With Me."

The product listing for the $200 Raf Simons tape on Rodan Gray doesn't come with a description but it hardly needs one. After all, what can't one do with duct tape? The household item turned It accessory is its own category on Pinterest, where clever DIY enthusiasts detail how to do everything from transform duct tape into a wallet, necklace, and purse to floor patterns and succulent holders. Leave it to the master deconstructionist to create an accessory that puts the design in the wearer's hands.

If you're looking for inspiration, you can reference how Raf used the duct tape in his fall 2017 presentation that served as a love letter to New York City. On the runway, the duct tape was used to add definition around the waist to bulky winter coats, which — with the duct tape or not — is a trick that will surely come in handy with the chillier months ahead.

Duct tape isn't the first household staple to receive a high-fashion makeover this year. Earlier this year, Balenciaga put their own spin on another one: IKEA's iconic Frakta bag. In creative head Demna Gvasalia's debut for the fashion house, blue and yellow leather bags in the same silhouette as IKEA's Frakta bag were toted by models down the runway. Later, it was revealed that the reimagined bags would be selling for $2,145 a piece, a steep jump from the $0.99 IKEA version. That prompted all kinds of clever new takes on the bag, ranging from sandals made out of the straps to boots and hats. Considering how much more versatile duct tape is, it's only a matter of time until people get equally creative — whether it's with Raf Simons' $200 version or, you know, whatever is laying around the house.
