In New York City, fashion week is still going strong. But on the West Coast, the stars turned out for the 2026 Emmy Awards, which took place September 14 at the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. (W got things started early the night prior, hosting an intimate party at Matsuhisa Beverly Hills with Loewe; Julia Garner, Odessa A’Zion, Rachel Sennott, Elle Fanning and Dakota Fanning, and many more were in attendance.)
The black-tie looks began rolling out on the Emmys red carpet with Grace Gummer, whose black strapless Dior gown designed from Jonathan Anderson’s resort 2027 collection had pearl buttons running along the side of its ruched long skirt. Carey Mulligan, in a blue and white column dress by The Row, looked particularly regal to celebrate her first-ever Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series category for Beef season two, which was nominated for a total of 16 potential awards. Chase Infiniti—who recently appeared in WYouth’s inaugural issue alongside her sister, Dolcé Imani—may not have won the lead actress trophy for her role in The Testaments, but looked every inch a winner. Meanwhile, Zendaya nominated for the third time for her performance as Rue in Euphoria dazzled one last time for her ill-fated character in a resplendent, glittering Prada gown (styled by Image Architect Law Roach, of course, who was on hand during the red-carpet photo call to adjust the actor’s train).
