Brie Larson has made quite an impression on the big screen over her nearly two-decade career. From an Academy Award-winning role in Room to starring in Captain Marvel, the California-native is known for her standout roles in major productions as well as independent films. Most recently, Larson appeared in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and has two films—Fast X and The Marvelspremiering at the end of this year. She also made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival, where she was selected to be a part of the event’s jury.

Aside from her on screen brilliance, we’ve come to expect eye-catching style moments from Larson’s various red carpet appearances over the years. While the actress has donned looks from major brands like Celine, Chanel, and Valentino, she also is a frequent wearer of smaller, independent labels—most notably Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, and Monse. This intersection offers a mix of elegant styles that combine timeless touch points as well as modern detailing. Here, a look back at Larson’s best looks on the red carpet.
