The last time Florence Pugh arrived at the Venice Film Festival, she was armed with an Aperol Spritz, a bright purple Valentino set, and a deliciously laid-back attitude amid a tense Don’t Worry Darling press tour. Four years later, Pugh is back—and once again her off-duty festival style exudes La Dolce Vita effortlessness. This time, however, there’s a boho-chic twist.

On Wednesday, the star was spotted shopping in Venice wearing a look that blended ethereal romance with Venetian ease. Her mustard yellow Rodarte maxi dress exuded free-flowing elegance and draped languidly as she walked. Crafted from silk crêpe, the halterneck design featured a statement fabric rosette that added a touch of feminine polish to the look. She accessorized with boho chic staples courtesy of Chloé, from her mini Paddington bag to her Maxime wedges. Her oversized square sunglasses added a vintage finishing touch.

While perusing the Prada store and strolling through the canal-lined alleyways, Pugh exuded ease between red-carpet appearances. The last time the actor was at the festival in 2022, she embraced Valentino maximalism—from her purple arrival set to her showstopping sheer premiere gown. This year, she is leaning into more neutral tones.

On September 8, Pugh was spotted arriving at the Hotel Excelsior in a precisely tailored Max Mara navy set. Wearing pleated trousers and a flowy tucked-in tank, she dressed up the monochrome simplicity with wide Max Mara sunglasses and her Chloé Paddington. Later that evening, she attended a dinner with the brand in a nude evening ensemble adorned with subtle sequin embroidery.

The star is currently promoting Netflix’s East of Eden, a period drama series based on John Steinbeck’s 1952 novel of the same name, in which she stars and acts as executive producer. And while this Venice Film Festival is less contentious than that of 2022, it is certainly no less stylish.
