While there is plenty of new fashion to be seen during New York Fashion Week, it was not the only place to take in some truly fantastic looks this week. With the race for Oscar gold beginning to kick off, big name celebrities headed to Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival to debut their latest films. And what’s a film premiere without some major red carpet gowns? This year’s festival had no shortage of major star power, thanks to both perennial A-listers like Julia Roberts and Julianne Moore, and fresh-faced ingenues like Yara Shahidi and Elle Fanning. And then, of course, there was Lady Gaga. As rave reviews continue to roll in for A Star Is Born, the singer is proving herself to look every bit the leading lady part, donning a number of dramatic couture gowns—with a matching pillbox hat, of course.
