Congratulations are due! Janel Parrish, who played Mona Vanderwaal on Pretty Little Liars and will appear in the upcoming spin-off, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, got married on Saturday to her longtime boyfriend, Chris Long, reports The Daily Mail.
According to the article, it was a family affair, with Parrish’s sister serving as her maid of honor and Long’s brother officiating the ceremony. They report that the bride wore “a mermaid Inbal Dror gown with a sweetheart neckline, corset bodice and long, feathered train,” and that she and the groom exchanged “self-written vows.” Aww.
Per E! Online, Parrish’s Bratz: The Movie (which, yes, I have seen; it’s terrible and very funny) costars Logan Browning and Natalia Ramos were guests at the ceremony. Her Pretty Little Liars costar Brendan Robinson and the PLL series creator, I. Marlene King, were both reportedly in attendance as well. Parrish was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and became engaged to Long in Toronto, Canada, last October. Recently, she also had a part in the Netflix’s teen romantic comedy hit To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, as the protagonist Laura Jean’s older sister, Margot.
“We feel so lucky we found each other in this crazy world,” Parrish told Us Weekly. “Marrying my dream man in my home of Hawaii surrounded by family and friends was a dream.” She’d previously gushed to the magazine about her happy relationship, saying, “He just is my person. My soul knows him, I feel like. He’s my best friend in the entire world. And no matter what, if I’m having the worst day ever, I feel like I have somebody who understands me.” What a pretty little couple.
