Kaia Gerber Found Out That Mom Cindy Crawford Built a Golf Course at Their House via Instagram

When a child leaves the nest, it’s a parent’s right of passage to convert their bedroom in to a craft room, home gym, or an extra closet. However, it seems Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber had more luxurious plans for their home while children Kaia, 16, and Presley, 18, were off walking runways all over the world. When Crawford posted a video of herself putting on a waterfront green (that looks suspiciously like the view from the family’s Ontario lake home), daughter Kaia didn’t hesitate to call out her mom.

“DID [YOU] BUILD A GOLF COURSE?!” the youngest supermodel of the family commented on her mother’s post. And, like any good mom who misses their children, Crawford dared her internationally in-demand daughter to return home and find out. “Come home and you’ll see!” the 52-year-old wrote back. Kaia, who could not let her mother get the last word, pointed out that if this is a home renovation, the Gerbers pulled it off in no time. She wrote in a follow-up comment, “I haven’t even been gone that long.”

Gerber, with brother Presley by her side, has been seen modeling at fashion week shows in New York, London, and Milan (and Paris Fashion Week is right around the corner). As far as renovation projects go, a personal putting green could potentially have a quick turnaround, but it’s more likely that the parents of two kept plans for the addition to their property a secret from their children.

This isn’t the first time the 16-year-old has trolled her mom on social media. When Crawford posted snaps of her steamy photoshoot for InStyle, Gerber hilariously commented, “MOM! Where’s dad.” The family that comments on each other’s social media content together from across the globe, stays together, apparently.
