Street Style at Tbilisi Fashion Week Fall 2019 Is Outrageous As Ever
Chanel, Dior, and Prada aren’t alone in pulling out all the stops for their resort 2020 shows; houses like Louis Vuitton are about to follow in their footsteps seemingly everywhere across the globe, from Sydney to Florence. One place you definitely won’t find on that itinerary, though, is Tbilisi, where designers and no shortage of cool kids have always seemed perfectly content with marching to the beat of their own drum. The industry’s heavyweights may have clearly already moved on to the next season, but those showing at Tbilisi Fashion Week seemed just fine with the fact that their fall/winter 2019 shows kicked off on Thursday, a full two months after the rest. Predictably enough, though, it took less than a day for the street style alone to reaffirm that the city’s fashion scene is in a league of its own.
