Beyoncé Carried A $5,000 Kim Kardashian-Approved Bag To Jay-Z’s Tidal x Brooklyn Concert
Beyoncé has never met a red carpet she couldn’t slay, and last night was no exception.
The Lemonade singer attended the Tidal x Brooklyn concert on Tuesday looking very, well, Beyoncé-like. The event, which was hosted by husband Jay Z to raise money for the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, was held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and featured headliners like Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Lopez, and various other members of the Roc Nation family.
Jay Z performed a set of his own, including his early-aughts duet with Beyoncé, “’03 Bonnie & Clyde.” Though the audience undoubtedly hoped that the queen herself would emerge from backstage to sing her part, her husband was quick to put those rumors to rest. “Psych, y’all think Bey is coming out or something, but we ain’t doing that tonight,” he told the crowd.
Despite not making it to the stage, Bey’s appearance on the ted carpet was anything but low-key, as seen in a series of photos she posted to Instagram immediately following the event. She stepped out in an emerald green, long-sleeved gown custom made by Walter Mendez, with a slit up the leg and an asymmetrical neckline with cutouts. She accessorized the show-stopping dress with a purple fur stole, crystal-encrusted Christian Louboutin pumps, and gold and emerald statement jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz.
Even with the #flawless fur, gown, and jewelry, the real OMG-inducing piece of the singer’s look was her handbag. She carried the lust-worthy Alexander Wang X Judith Lieber crystal clutch, which resembles a rhinestone-encrusted wad of $100 bills, which has most recently been Instagram-ed and carried by none other than Kim Kardashian. According to Harper’s Bazaar, the blinding bag is covered in 10,263 black, gunmetal, green, and clear Swarovski crystals, and retails for $4,995. Sadly, it appears to be sold out everywhere—such is the life when you aren’t, you know, Beyoncé or Kim Kardashian.
