Robin Wright Quietly Married Her French Boyfriend Clement Giraudet Over the Weekend

Over the weekend, and oh so quietly, House of Cards star Robin Wright married Clement Giraudet, the head of VIP relations at Saint Laurent, in an intimate ceremony in France. The wedding, which was first reported by Vogue Paris, apparently took place in La Roche-sur-le-Buis, a small town in the Drôme department in the southeast of the country, where just a small group of friends and family gathered for an informal yet festive-looking affair filled with dancing and live music.

Though not much social media evidence exists of the event—in sharp contrast with the usual summer destination wedding, especially of the fashion varietyDylan Penn, Wright’s daughter with ex Sean Penn, posted a video on Instagram on Sunday, the day after the wedding reportedly took place. In the short clip, guests clad in a dress code that can best be described as ’60s hippie by way of Calabasas dance through a small clutch of guitarists strumming away. Many of them are holding wine glasses. This is a wedding in France, after all.

Wright and Giraudet themselves can be seen in an image posted to a Robin Wright fan account on Instagram. In that photo, Wright wears a long white lace dress with a scoop neck and short sleeves (Saint Laurent, perchance?) and a bandana tied around her head. Giraudet wears black trousers, sandals, a hat, and a brown vest over white shirtsleeves. And, honestly, they look pretty blissed. Wright has not yet posted any photos to her own Instagram, while Giraudet made his account private shortly after tabloids got wind of the relationship. (He is a PR professional, after all.)

Wright and Giraudet have been dating for at least eight months: Page Six first reported their relationship back in December, but they were first spotted together at Paris Fashion Week back in September 2017, images of which were later picked up by the Daily Mail.
